About LORI ROSENDALE, B.A., M.S.ED., P.D.

With over three decades of experience in teaching students from Pre-K through 12th grade, I have dedicated my career to nurturing young minds. I have also spent twenty years as an adjunct faculty member at Hofstra University, where I taught graduate-level courses in Literacy Studies. My journey began with a foundation in art, which has given me a unique perspective on the importance of integrating various systems of knowledge.

My extensive background in special education has instilled in me the importance of providing individualized and differentiated support to help every learner succeed. As a literacy specialist, I am deeply committed to ensuring that children of all ages develop strong reading and writing skills. I believe that literacy is a fundamental human right and a shared social responsibility. My goal is to create a loving, supportive, and creative culture of learning for all students, empowering them to reach their full potential.
